Carpet Spice, cleanse deodorize and uplift your environments from the floor up!
Solving a Saturday Situation with
Carpet Spice!
During my saturday vacuuming I realized I do not like the aroma of carpet dust.
It's old, musty, dirty, fuzzy, not fresh nor pleasant.
So I made some carpet spice, this beauty is designed to work its way through the carpet, slay bacteria, any little microbes that are invisible to my eye but not my nose, really work on balancing the carpet pH. I know this may sound funny but it’s as true in your body, swimming pool and your carpet, balance the pH balance the whole system.
The following is a wonderful basic and beautiful recipe, feel free to adjust based on what you have on hand, like or dislike, as any of these essential oils are fantastic on their own.
Simply sprinkle the powder on the carpet, wait 5 minutes and suck it up with the vacuum, As the vacuum moves along the carpet it really works throughout all the carpet fur. The vacuum sucks up the carpet spice just like its does any other dust.
The heat from the vacuum warms up the essential oils and you have a clean, aromatically pleasant room, with fresh, clean carpets and disinfected air.
Recipe;
Ingredients;
1 cup baking soda
2 drops vetiver essential oil
3 drops patchouli essential oil
10 drops myrrh essential oil
5 drops himalayan cedar essential oil
10 drops fir essential oil
10 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops orange essential oil
Method;
Mix all ingredients together really well, I find it helps to crush all the essential oils into the baking soda by hand.
Next put your mix in a jar with a sprinkling lid like a spice jar, if you don’t have this, don’t worry sprinkling by hand or spoon works just fine.
To use sprinkle on carpet, wait 5-10 minutes, vacuum, enjoy!
